Diagnosing Problems
FOR PUMPS AND THEIR POSSIBLE CAUSE

When the oil pump is filled with oil, there is no exhaust.

Check whether the system has enough hydraulic oil, and confirm the system power and voltage.

The motor's rotation should be consistent  with the oil pump.

The oil pump's transmission key should be properly installed.

The flow adjustment screw on the variable vane pump should be set to the factory default.

Please double-check the check valve's installation instructions.

1. Inhales air

Examine the tank for foam.

Check the tank volume: It is advised that the required tank volume be properly evaluated for pumps with larger displacement.

Check the height of the oil suction filter: ensure that the hydraulic oil volume is higher than the suction filter's height to avoid sucking in air.

Check the distance between the suction and return: too close could result in a vortex.
Check for gaps in the oil suction joint: it is best to install the oil suction joint below the liquid level and wrap it with a tape Seal.

2. Inadequate Flow

Examine the filter: If the oil filter is clogged, clean it (Recommended density of the filter is twice or more of the maximum flow rate).
Check the flow: the flow adjustment screw is not factory set.

Examine the piping: the suction pipe is too long, and the pipe diameter is too small, resulting in insufficient oil suction.

Check the hydraulic oil: due to the low temperature, the viscosity of the hydraulic oil increases, making it difficult to inhale.

3. Poor concentration

Check the connection: loosen the screws at the connection or check the operation process according to the installation instructions.

Pump Without Flow

Pump With Odd Noise

Abnormal Oil Pump Temperature

Overpressure is used in the system, and the motor loading is too high, resulting in excessive oil pump pressure.

The fuel tank is small, the heat dissipation is insufficient, or the pump drain port is small.
The cooler is broken.

The valve's internal leakage is excessive too large.

There is a lack of concentricity between the motor and the pump.

The hydraulic oil is poor and must be replaced.

Oil Leakage From The Pump

Leakage of oil from the joint

The hydraulic oil is of poor quality and should be altered.

Circuit piping is incorrect.

Overpressure is used in the system, and the motor loading is too high, resulting in excessive oil pump pressure.

During installation, the shaft is damaged.

Insufficient Pump Pressure

The flow adjustment screw on the variable vane pump should be set to the factory default.

The gear pump's side plate is worn.

The solenoid valve has become stuck inside.

Abnormal internal leakage of hydraulic components from the hydraulic system.
